Bollywood Story Slot

If you’re a fan of the vibrant colours, the beautiful music and the intriguing storylines that feature in Bollywood movies and stage shows, sit back and prepare to be enthralled by a moving love story on the reels where only one thing is guaranteed – that you will have a happy ending every time!

This love story takes place inside the luxurious home of a greedy step-mother with decorated marble pillars and expensive rugs where she is arguing with her step-daughter over which man she should marry – the step-mother trying to convince her to marry an ugly but rich old man to reap the benefits of his bank balance rather than the charming young man who she has fallen in love with.

I think your question requires an explanation and a story for an answer. I have an unusual track-record when it comes to Bollywood. People who are my friends make it in Bollywood. Bollywood Story is a 5 reel, 9 payline video slot that's set in a home in India, as the game seems to revolve around a family drama movie that you see everywhere. The game's artwork is very well drawn, and almost reminds me of something you'd see in theatres from a major 1990's film like Aladdin.

A Moving Love Story

The Bollywood Story slot machine has been developed by Net Entertainment in the style of a Disney production with stunning graphics setting the scene and there is a top prize of 90,000 coins offered on each and every spin if you can get the young couple to marry despite the evil step-mothers best laid attempts to prevent it. It is a 5-reeled slot machine offering 9 fixed paylines enabling you to watch the love story from 9p up to £90 per spin and you’ll be glad you did as there is lots to enjoy along the way including Floating Wilds and an impressive free spins bonus game where you can trigger up to 30 initial free spins!

Floating Wilds for Sky High Wins

The flower garlands aren’t just for show in the Bollywood Story slot machine. They are the Floating Wild symbols which are among my favourite types of Wild symbols as during each and every spin that you make, between two and four of the flower garlands will appear on top of random symbols on the reels to transform them into Wild symbols – and things get even more exciting should you trigger the free spins mode!

Meet the Family

While the Bollywood Story logo is the most valuable symbol on the reels with five resulting in a win worth 1,000 coins and there are Ace to 10 icons included, it’s the four character’s that the story revolves around which are the most visually impressive on the reels.

You’ll see the beautiful step-daughter who wears sparkling jewellery with five of her worth 750 coins, the charming young man who she would like to marry with him appearing five times on a line resulting in a 500-coin win, the grumpy looking old rich man who seeks a young bride who is worth 400 coins for five on a line, and the greedy step-mother who has a disgusted look on her face at not getting her own way who pays 300 coins for five on a line.

Win Up to 30 Free Spins

The biggest wins of all come once you land three or more Scattered Sapphires on the reels at once as you activate a free spins bonus feature, with more spins for the more Sapphires that you land.

Four Scatter Symbols: 20 free spins

Five Scatter Symbols: 30 free spins

You’ll be chuffed to hear that Floating Wilds are active here too. Rather than the two to four which appear during the base game, in the free spins mode each and every spin will see between three and six Floating Wilds appear on the reels in random positions. As you can imagine, filling six positions on the reels with Wilds results in extraordinary wins and with a maximum of 1,000x your stake available in addition to the ability to re-trigger additional free spins, it’s certainly not a feature to miss!

Simply Stunning!

The Bollywood Story slot machine is powered by Net Entertainment but it was actually developed exclusively for ComeOn Casino which offers players a variety of deposit options and is rapidly growing in popularity.

With graphics that look straight out of a Disney movie combined with the upbeat tunes of a Bollywood classic playing out as you spin the reels, this love story will have you engrossed from start to finish. It’s all about the sensational Floating Wilds feature which is active in both the base game and the free spins mode, and it never fails to see you enjoy a happy ending – even if the greedy step-mother gets her way and you can’t bring the two young lovers together on the reels!

Lockdown Ki Love Story (transl. Love story in lockdown) is an Indian television drama series that aired from 31 August 2020 to 23 January 2021 on StarPlus.[1][2] Produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms,[3] it starred Sana Sayyad and Mohit Malik.[4][5]

Plot[edit]

Set in Prayagraj, the series follows the love story of Dhruv and Sonam who are forced to share a house with their respective families due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Dhruv's mother Nutan and his aunt Sheetal oppose their relationship due to Sonam's modern ways while her father Pratap finds Dhruv's family very backward in their thinking. The main supporters of the union are Sonam's mother Subhadra and Dhruv's father Shashikant. Despite Nutan, Sheetal, and Pratap' numerous plots, the wedding of Dhruv and Sonam was still on. Nutan, Sheetal, Pratap, and Tanu collaborated to stop their wedding. Their plan is to get Dhruv to marry his childhood friend Shweta (Milky),who has always had a crush on Dhruv. Milky persuaded Sonam to go to her mother to do bridal makeup while she impersonates Sonam as the bride. Sonam does so and Milky's mother manages to drug her to sleep. Sonam wakes up too late and witnesses Dhruv marrying Milky. Sonam tries to explain why she wasn't at the wedding, but Milky and Nutan place all the blame on Sonam. This went on to a point when Nutan burns herself intentionally. Dhruv, in a fit of rage, throws Sonam and her family out of the house.

Dhruv does not accept Milky as his wife, despite his mother's pleas. Sonam realizes the truth of what happened on the wedding day and decides to expose Milky to Dhruv as a cheat. Later, Sonam finds out she is positive for COVID-19 and the police force the Jaiswals to let her stay in the house as she was staying there before.

In an attempt to return Sonam to Mumbai, Dhruv sends kidnappers after her. However, the kidnappers mistakenly take Milky instead of Sonam. Hulchal and Babloo save Milky from the kidnappers but they call Milky's mother and demand she tell the truth about what happened on the wedding day to the Jaiswals in exchange for Milky. Their plan almost succeeds but Dhruv spoils it by finding Milky and bringing her back before Milky's mother could confess. Dhruv reveals that Sonam never had COVID-19 and it was all a ruse to get her in the house. Later when Dhruv wants to send Sonam out of the house Shasikant opposes his decision and decides to conduct a voting poll for Sonam to stay in the house or not. Sonam wins the voting poll and stays in the house. Later Nutan decides to Dhruv's future with a coin toss and Dhruv stops that. Later, he knows that both sides are tail so that his mother can win and reveals the truth to everyone.

Dhruv hears Sonam's side of the story and challenges her to bring him evidence of this in seven days. If she fails, Sonam will return to Mumbai on the eighth day. Now Raghav, Dhruv's estranged cousin, enters the story. He hates Dhruv and plans on using Sonam, with whom he is in love, to get revenge against Dhruv. He also has a video of Milky's mother admitting to what happened in the wedding.Due to a misunderstanding created by Raghav, Dhruv throws Sonam out of the house again where Raghav kidnaps her and tries to forcefully marry her. Dhruv rescues Sonam and finally sees the evidence. Dhruv confronts the conspirators and he decides to marry Sonam. In order to stop this, Milky tries to burn herself in the kitchen. She then files a case against Shashikant, Nutan and Sheetal, accusing them of burning her for dowry. In order to bring Shashikant and Nutan, Sonam makes a deal with Milky and Raghav that if Milky releases the Dhruv family then she will marry Raghav. Dhruv demands Sonam to marry him after Milky puts a fake acting in front of him that she realised her mistake and wanted to unite them. On the day of Sonam and Dhruv's marriage, Sonam writes a letter to Dhruv apologizing to him and Dhruv rushes to Sonam after he finds out that Raghav is forcefully marrying Sonam, from Raghav's mother Sumitra. Dhruv and Raghav engage in a fight and Raghav shoots Sonam but Dhruv saves her and took the bullet on her. The next morning Sonam notices that Dhruv is acting like a child and he lost his memory. To cheer up Dhruv, Sonam dresses up like a kid and helps Dhruv to face all problems he was facing because of the other children. In the beginning, Milky loved Dhruv but now she hates him because he is equal to a child and doesn't want him in her life. So she kidnaps Dhruv with her mother's help but Sonam finds Dhruv. An attacker tries to murder Dhruv but she saves him seeing her love for Dhruv. Nutan apologises to Sonam for the mistrust. Nutan and Sonam throw Milky out of their home but it is later revealed that Milky made a child acted Dhruv, sign on the house properties. Milky throws Sonam and Dhruv's family out of their house and Milky blackmails Dhruv. Due to the stress, Dhruv falls unconscious and admitted to the hospital. Sheetal apologise to Sonam and starts helping her to mislead Milky and get back their house and they get successful. Dhruv recovers and his memory returns. Dhruv and Sonam decide to marry for which Sonam's father also accepts while Milky comes up with various ways to break Sonam-Dhruv’s marriage. She makes a fake report of pregnancy and murders Dhruv's servant Batasha as he hears her plans. Seeing this, Milky blackmails Nutan to kill Sonam otherwise she will kill the whole family. Sonam escapes after many attacks on her. On the other side, Sheetal and Sonam try to find evidence about Milky faking her pregnancy. Soon, Sonam gets the evidence and marries Dhruv having the show end on a good note.

Bollywood Story Slot Review

The show offered Malik the chance to sing on television with his own voice for the first time; in his previous role as a singer on Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, his singing voice was dubbed.[8]

Days before the end of the series, lead actor Mohit Malik playing Dhruv tested positive for COVID-19 and did not shoot for the series and he was not shown in the series for last few episodes and for the finale episode, few of his parts was taken from the previous shots while some portions were covered with a dupe of him.[9][10]

Casting[edit]

Mohit Malik was selected to portray Dhruv Jaiswal. Speaking on his preparation for his role, 'My character in the show speaks Allahabadi dialect since he is based out of Prayagraj. When this role was offered to me, we were in the lockdown phase and I utilized that time to sharpen my hold over this particular dialect. Even when we use to do workshops with our scriptwriters, I spent extra time with them to understand the tone and tonality of the dialect/language.[11]

Release[edit]

The first promo of the series was released on 15 August 2020 featuring Sana Sayyad, Mohit Malik, and their families.[12]

Cancellation[edit]

Due to decreased TRP's after the time slot change, the show was last aired on 23 January 2021.[2]

Reception[edit]

Weeks after premiere, the series saw a rise in its ratings from TRP of 0.9 to 1.3 gradually in its early prime time slot of 7:00 pm (IST).[13] However, on 2 November 2020, it was shifted to the late night slot of 11:00 pm (IST) by the channel to accommodate a one hour program Taare Zameen Par from 6:30 pm (IST).[14][15] Due to this, the ratings of the series dropped and multiple changes were made in the theme and storyline from being Romedy to a usual drama to increase the ratings which did not increase.[16][17][18] Thus, the series was off aired on 23 January 2021.[9]
